Answers

1.

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, electronic check, and PayPal.  

PayPal accepts all major credit cards, including American Express, and even gives you a finance option!  With PayPal's "Bill Me Later" program, you get 6 months no interest before having to make a payment!  To take advantage of this program, simply select PayPal as your check out option.  The “Bill Me Later” program is subject to credit approval and certain terms and conditions apply.   This is a great option for big floral holidays when money may be a little tight!

Your personal information is securely stored in our Ecommerce database. You have the option to make this information available for future orders when logging in, so that you do not have to type it again when you come back and shop from us.  Our shopping cart processes all the information by using the latest security technology: SSL 128-bit encryption.

All flowers are shipped via FedEx directly to your front door!  We negotiated a special relationship with FedEx to maintain your product’s “cold chain” from the farm to you.  With our service, your flowers will never sit in a warehouse or airport uncooled waiting to be shipped.  Your flowers are cut from the ground the day they are shipped to you.

Your flowers have had a long trip from their home in South America.  They are going to be thirsty as they are dry-packed for their trip to you.  We recommend you process your flowers immediately upon arrival.

To Process Your Flowers:
Re-cut your stems to begin the rehydration process, then hydrate and cool your flowers for a minimum of 24 hours before selling them.  This ensures maximum vase-life for your flowers.

Remember, the dry-packing process may make your roses soft to the touch.  This is perfectly normal.  Your roses will “harden” upon hydration and cooling.  We also recommend a good holding solution such as Chrysal Pro 2. This will optimize flower life and give your flowers just the right amount of food.


5.

Yes, FedEx will leave your flowers at your door in the event you are not present to receive them. 

FedEx Delivery Schedule:
For most major metropolitan areas FedEx will deliver by 9:30am local time.
For outlying areas FedEx will attempt to deliver between 10:30-12:00 local time.

If you are not going to be available, please call us at (877) 899-0633 and we may be able to schedule your flowers to be held for pick up at your local FedEx office.  If flowers are held for pick up, please receive your flowers as soon as possible as most local offices do not have coolers available.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Direct Flower Importers, LLC is not responsible for flowers held at a local FedEx office for any period of time, or for flowers delivered to you while you are not present.  We recommend you track your order and ensure you are available at delivery time.

Great question!  With every order you will receive a tracking number.  You will be able to monitor your flowers’ entire journey from the farm to your front door.

Absolutely not!  Part of our mission at Direct Flower Importers is to get to know you and your personal needs.  You will have a dedicated representative assigned to your account.  When you sign up for our service, your representative will contact you and work with you to determine how we may best serve you.

Our mission at Direct Flower Importers is to supply you with the best possible quality product directly from the farm at the best possible prices.  Our service is only as good as the flowers you receive.  Our owners personally inspect each and every farm we work with to ensure only the highest quality flowers are sold by our company. 

We work with only the very best farms, including: Qualisa, La Rosaleda, Tambo, Josarflor and more.   We also periodically hire independent inspectors to visit these farms for quality.

Our return policy is available on the Terms of Sale agreement.
